Oh the irony! :-D
ipaprime - April 21, 2013, 3:16 am
so why don't you
PapaFox - April 20, 2013, 6:52 am
If the only way someone knows how to communicate is via a logical fallacy, then they need to go back to school to learn how to think rationally.
terroraustralis - April 19, 2013, 11:47 pm
just because conservatives are **** at communicating, does not make them intrinsically wrong. they are noticing something that is REAL. (even though they're dumb enough to not notice it when bush did it). the patriot act and NDAA are unconstitutional.
terroraustralis - April 19, 2013, 11:46 pm
that isnt a real logical fallacy. and i am not saying obama is hitler. i am saying that obama is putting forward unconstitutional laws, and the only way conservatives know how to communicate this to others, is by comparing obama to hitler.
PapaFox - April 19, 2013, 10:36 am
No, it's a fail because it's based on a classic logical fallacy (actually several logical fallacies). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reductio_ad_Hitlerum
ipaprime - April 19, 2013, 8:36 am
the fail is yours because you dismiss them on the style of the argument not the merits. a classic example of a limited mindset
PapaFox - April 19, 2013, 6:08 am
(Speaking of the SS a***ogy BS. D*mned goofy comment hierarchy...)
PapaFox - April 19, 2013, 6:07 am
Now that's a good point, the "could have destroyed sauron's ring, but didn't." Though I wonder if failure to try was intentional, or based on thinking he'd never get it through Congress?
PapaFox - April 19, 2013, 6:05 am
And that's where the a***ogy fails due to ridiculous comparisons.
terroraustralis - April 19, 2013, 1:19 am
he wont* revoke the patriot act and NDAA at the end of his term. though if he does, then that would make him the best president of the modern era.
terroraustralis - April 19, 2013, 1:18 am
like it or not, history will see obama as "the guy who could have destroyed sauron's ring, but didnt". sure he's only going to use it for good, but he revoke the patriot act and NDAA at the end of his term. eventually those laws will be abused.
terroraustralis - April 19, 2013, 1:16 am
you can argue that obama wont use it, but the "war on terror" is never going to end, which means those new laws are permanent, and they will eventually be abused, probably by the next bush.
terroraustralis - April 19, 2013, 1:14 am
well, sadly most conservatives have nothing but hitler comparisons as their way of showing people that president obama having the right to a**asinate suspected american terrorists is pretty similar to the laws adolf hilter put in place to empower the SS..
PapaFox - April 19, 2013, 12:17 am
True. Even when called on it, they still have no clue why such posters are an instant fail, based on a logical fallacy.
BobbEdwards - April 19, 2013, 12:12 am
My pleasure, even though the poster will be ignored by those it was meant for ;-)

And if your lucky enough to inherit the gun restrictions from the treaty of Versailles and the Weimar administration in its attempts to suppress its political foes; then what fascist wouldn't take advantage of it?
Rudedog - April 6, 2013, 12:44 am
But still, most tyrannical regimes require a disarmament of the populous to be successful. Even political fascist regimes.
Renza - April 5, 2013, 5:53 pm
This is the internet, there will always be more nazi/hitler posters.
Cannabal - April 5, 2013, 1:47 pm
Good luck with that.
Doggit - April 5, 2013, 12:52 pm
Note to self; no more Nazi posters
Doggit - April 5, 2013, 12:51 pm
Apparently the previous administration had already in place strict gun control measures and the Nazi's didn't need to change them until 1938 when they increased restrictions on Jews and other non citizens. Your correction is acknowledged.
PapaFox - April 5, 2013, 12:15 pm
History fail. 1) Germany had gun control for many years prior to the rise of the Nazis. 2) The Nazis actually loosened gun control laws in 1938.

This isn't a court of law where the burden you are fallacious suggesting requires such a standard. It's a court of public opinion where common sense is enough and you are clearly deficient and have little or no power over. Trump's a nazi. Deal with it.
calron - March 18, 2016, 3:43 am
So the article showing he didn't actually said what you said he said doesn't prove he didn't say that and your retort is basically to name call and a**ume I support Trump. You also ignored the cancelled rally which shows your wrong on that subject as well
fauxnews - March 17, 2016, 7:29 am
...he continues to run his mouth on this and anything his dark heart desires, his fascist rhetoric, etc. Im just smart enough like many to read through the lines. Sad that you and the other Trumpateers are not. Comes at the price of your party.GOP RIP 2016
fauxnews - March 17, 2016, 7:25 am
As for "law breaking",so far the most serious charges have been levied at the Trump supporters for attacking the protesters (like the older white man who punched the black, protester, facing an a**ault charge now, etc.) And trump is in NO way deprived...
fauxnews - March 17, 2016, 7:23 am
And also doubling down on his hateful rhetoric, incendiary language around rallies, and pathological lying over this and other issues.Your'article'is a far cry from"you were shown wrong"(lol)and given the events of late has been indicted by the context(2/2)
fauxnews - March 17, 2016, 7:20 am
At best, your "article" confesses that, "it’s not entirely clear that’s what he said" because Trump is cunning enough to ride the line. Since that article, though, he's played the KKK card(moronically playing stupid over facts involving their support)(1/2)
calron - March 17, 2016, 2:08 am
So this again after you where shown wrong. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2015/nov/24/donald-trumps-comments-database-american-muslims/ But nice to see you justify law breaking and shutting down speech based on this mistruth.

Trump's statements about building walls against Mexico's borders and his statements against Muslims proves his anti-immigrant stance. Since that link Sharyl has backtracked a lot on her contranian statements. Not you are just trolling mate.
calron - March 18, 2016, 2:49 am
I made a couple politifakes on that recently. Some people didn't get them. :P 66156 and do to the complaining 66206.

fauxnews - March 17, 2016, 7:39 am
I'm just making a parody of Trump here, eluding to the very real fact that he's using fascist rhetoric and tactics to fuel his campaign (which is on him if he's playing the Hitler/facist card, not me) and you're rambling about "sugar." Ohhhkay.
calron - March 17, 2016, 2:27 am
That's like saying the Hitler Ate Sugar trope isn't silly when you just happen to be by accident bad.

fauxnews - March 16, 2016, 10:44 pm
Can't beat em? Are you joking?!! lololololol... Trump doesn't stand a chance in a general election. That's why his own party is publicly conspiring against him. The radicalized Xtians and their Tea Party are throwing this election to Hillary.(1/2)
